What’s in a name?

Kibo is the name of the highest volcanic cone found on Mt. Kilimanjaro.  On January 21, 2006, Barbara and her husband, Stephen, summited the mountain following a 6-day ascent trek.  They were rewarded with spending a night sleeping in the crater, alongside the mountain’s famous glacier, followed by a 2-day descent.
